Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Field Engineer specialising in high-level safe access and fall protection systems. This site-based role involves:

These responsibilities ensure safe, compliant working at height across diverse environments, delivering practical solutions to complex access challenges.
Responsibilities
Key tasks include:
- Surveying, designing support, and installing high-level access systems (ladders, walkways, platforms, gantries)
- Installing, inspecting, and certifying fall protection systems (fixed lifelines, anchor points, guardrails, edge protection)
- Conducting site assessments and work at height risk evaluations
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and legislation
- Providing technical support and guidance to clients and on-site teams
- Preparing clear reports, drawings, and handover documentation
- Collaborating with project managers, designers, and Health & Safety (H&S) teams
- Troubleshooting on-site issues and delivering practical engineering solutions
Key Requirements
Essential:
✔ Proven experience as a Field Engineer in a similar role ✔ Strong knowledge of safe access and fall protection systems ✔ Understanding of work at height regulations and safety standards ✔ Comfortable working at height and in challenging site environments ✔ CSCS card preferred (or a commitment to obtain one if required) ✔ Full UK driving licence ✔ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

✔ Certifications such as IPAF, PASMA, or fall protection inspection training ✔ Manufacturer-specific training for access systems ✔ Confined space or offshore experience (where applicable)
