About the Role
This is a full-time role based onsite at our facility in Colnbrook on Poyle Trading Estate.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Inspecting, repairing and servicing the cargo movement and handling equipment;
- Maintenance of cable drum brakes, wheel bearings, conveyor roller beds, and chassis turntables;
- Welding.

About You
As a Fitter, we would ask you bring the following skills and experience:
- A basic understanding of simple mechanical systems;
- Practical experience with mechanical systems gained through previous employment, education, or relevant hobbies/interests;
- Confident with hands-on, practical tasks;
- Entry-level (Level 2) English literacy skills;
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure;
- A proactive and motivated approach to learning in a hands-on environment;
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team;
- Experience with welding is also desirable.

Additional Requirements
The successful candidate will be required to undertake security vetting, which includes a criminal records check and the provision of five years’ continuous education and/or employment references.
