Maintenance Lead

Are you a hands-on maintenance professional with leadership experience and a passion for creating safe, well-maintained environments? Join our team as a Maintenance Lead and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of two specialist healthcare services, making a real difference to the experience of patients, staff and visitors every day.

Working closely with the Support Services Manager, you will lead and support a housekeeping team at Barnet Lane Clinic. You will oversee day-to-day maintenance activities, prioritise workloads, review work schedules and ensure repairs and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

In this varied and rewarding role, you will support the organisation and completion of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes, ensuring all statutory and compliance requirements are met. You will coordinate contractors on site, providing guidance and local support to ensure works are completed safely, on time and to the required standard. You will also identify, prioritise and respond to faults, damage and maintenance issues, ensuring buildings and facilities remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose.

As Maintenance Lead, you will be responsible for promoting a strong health and safety culture, ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out in line with organisational policies, procedures and statutory regulations. You will also support administrative processes, including purchase orders, invoice approval and budget monitoring, while contributing to Health & Safety, Clinical Governance and Senior Management Team meetings as required.

You’ll be working in a specialist Complex Care and Recovery Service (CCRS), supporting adults with complex needs who benefit from a more tailored, long-term recovery approach beyond standard care settings.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
