As a Maintenance Leader at JLR
You’ll play a key role in keeping some of the most advanced manufacturing technologies performing at their best. Leading a skilled team within our Trim & Final operations, you’ll help deliver quality, efficiency and innovation while creating opportunities to grow your leadership and technical expertise.

What To Expect
You'll be at the heart of a fast-moving manufacturing environment, leading maintenance activity that keeps production running safely and efficiently. From developing your team to improving automation and reliability, you’ll make a visible impact every day while working alongside experts across the business.
Here’s what to expect:
- Leading and developing a team of maintenance professionals to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost and environmental targets
- Managing planned preventative maintenance programmes, running checks and repairs to maximise equipment performance and uptime
- Responding to breakdowns, coordinating root cause investigations and implementing lasting corrective actions
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives, improving maintenance processes and supporting automation enhancement projects
- Collaborating with production, engineering, quality, safety and project teams to deliver business objectives and operational excellence

What You’ll Need
Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills and experiences that you’ll need to help you succeed here, including:
- Previous experience in a maintenance leadership or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical control systems, with knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and automation technologies
- Demonstrable experience of problem solving, fault diagnosis and delivering continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience of leading, supporting and developing teams while managing operational priorities and performance
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, preventative maintenance practices and workplace safety standards such as COSHH
