Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure restaurants respond effectively to business-critical, health & safety, and emergency situations, minimising downtime and maintaining safe, legal trading.
  • Deliver all maintenance services on schedule while meeting agreed timeframes, budgets, quality standards, and SLAs.
  • Maintain full statutory and mandatory compliance across the estate.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost efficiencies in line with planned programmes.
  • Reduce business interruptions by implementing and enhancing preventative maintenance strategies.
  • Develop balanced preventative and reactive maintenance processes to minimise disruption.
  • Manage building assets and equipment in line with statutory requirements and lifecycle cost principles.
  • Develop long-term asset lifecycle strategies, including end-of-life planning and investment proposals.
  • Oversee all maintenance contracts, ensuring consistent service delivery, cost control, and quality assurance.
  • Monitor supplier performance via SLAs and KPIs, driving continuous improvements.
  • Establish robust contractor management processes, including approval schemes and H&S compliance (RAMS, CPPs).
  • Collaborate with the Head of Capital Projects on refurbishment programmes and prioritise investment.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the internal maintenance team to deliver outstanding support.
  • Promote continuous professional development and stay updated with industry best practices and legal requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
