Job Introduction
Join Our Team and Drive Regional Maintenance Excellence
Landmarc Support Services is recruiting a motivated Maintenance Manager to help deliver safe, compliant and high‑quality Hard FM services across the East region. This is a hands‑on, operational role that plays a key part in maintaining standards across a varied Defence Estate, from coordinating maintenance activity and supporting technical specialists to working closely with the Compliance Manager and building strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading maintenance activity in a busy, varied environment and takes pride in keeping facilities safe and efficient.
Role Details
- Salary: £44,143.67
- Contract: Permanent, Full‑time, Site Based, Mon - Fri
- Location: West Tofts Camp, Thetford, Norfolk, IP26 5EP
- Travel: Periodic travel required in the East region; expenses covered

We maintain safe, sustainable infrastructure, operate training areas and ranges, and deliver major projects that enhance vital military training assets. What You’ll Do
- Oversee contractors and manage reactive works to support safe, high‑quality service delivery
- Deliver planned and preventative maintenance tasks within agreed timeframes
- Work with the Compliance Manager to support strong DIO EMO2 audit outcomes
- Maintain accurate maintenance and asset data using bespoke systems
- Guide and manage a team, ensuring high performance, safety and wellbeing
- Ensure all works comply with statutory and contractual obligations including CDM, Building Regulations and Fire Safety
- Draft specifications, evaluate quotations and manage small works contractors
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement across Hard FM delivery
- Support asset verification projects and collaborate with technical specialists on Legionella and Asbestos management
- Participation in the on‑call rota

Essential
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a similar Hard FM or technical services role
- Strong knowledge of property compliance and legislation
- Understanding of Legionella and Asbestos Management Plans
- Strong Health & Safety knowledge with IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH
- Confident managing contractors and ensuring CDM compliance
- Proficiency with CAFM or asset management systems; Maximo desirable
- Ability to manage budgets and deliver high‑quality service within deadlines
- Willing to undergo training for AP/RP duties (additional allowance applies)
- A Valid UK Driving Licence and means of transport
