Job Introduction
Landmarc Support Services is seeking a proactive Maintenance Manager to lead a small team of Technicians and ensure safe, compliant and well-managed facilities across Garelochhead Training Centre and Kinlochleven Lodge. This role suits someone confident managing people, coordinating maintenance activity and maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and performance. It offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to support essential Defence infrastructure.
Role Details
- Salary: £44,143.67
- Contract: Permanent, On site, Mon - Fri, 37 hours p/w
- Location: Garelochhead Training Centre, G84 0EH
- Travel: Monthly travel to Kinlochleven Lodge, plus occasional travel for training and meetings; pool vehicle provided and expenses covered

What You’ll Do
- Lead and support a team of Technicians, ensuring performance, welfare and workload standards are met
- Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring tasks are completed safely and within contractual deadlines
- Maintain compliance with CDM, Building Regulations and Health & Safety requirements
- Work closely with internal teams, external stakeholders and site users to support smooth maintenance delivery
- Manage contractors, write specifications, evaluate quotes and control budgets effectively
- Maintain accurate maintenance and asset records using IT and paper-based systems

Essential
- Knowledge and experience of commercial property maintenance and built-estate operations
- Experience with workload scheduling and managing maintenance activity
- Level 4 trade or facilities qualification such as City & Guilds, NVQ/HND, or equivalent experience including an approved apprenticeship
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations including COSHH, CDM and risk assessments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage budgets and drive continuous improvement
- IT proficiency including MS Packages (CAFAM desirable)
- Willingness to travel and participate in an on-call rota
- Full UK driving licence
Courses to Undertake in Role
- Training and appointment as an Appointed Person under JSP375 Vol 3
- WH003 Legionella and Water Hygiene training
