MAINTENANCE MANAGER / DEPUTY CONTINUING AIRWORTHINESS MANAGER
Airtask Group provides bespoke mission-based aviation solutions to Government and Commercial customers.
We currently have a requirement for a full-time experienced Maintenance Manager (Nominated Person) and Deputy Continuing Airworthiness Manager.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate they fulfil the requirements to hold this position as a nominated person in accordance with the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations.
The position requires a dedicated and self-motivated individual who is able to work under their own initiative, together with the flexibility and ability to work to strict deadlines.

It is essential that prospective candidates have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
- Engineering background and experience in continuing airworthiness
- Engineering or technical degree, technician or maintenance engineer qualification or Part-66 license (preferred)
- Knowledge of Human Factors
- Knowledge of UK continuing airworthiness regulations
It is preferred but not essential that prospective candidates have the following:
- Part-66 license, B1.1, B1.2 and/or B2 and/or C, with F406 and Group 3 rating
- Experience managing line and base maintenance stations
- Experience writing, reviewing and amending aircraft maintenance programmes and expositions
- Experience developing modifications
- Experience investigating obsolescence derived replacement of components

The normal working hours for this position are Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00 with the occasional need to provide out of hours support.
