I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join a leading food manufacturing business at an exciting stage of its growth.
This is an excellent opportunity to step into a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment where you'll play a key role in driving engineering performance. My client is making significant investment into both its engineering function and the wider group, creating genuine opportunities to influence change, improve reliability and develop your career.
The Opportunity
As Maintenance Manager, you'll lead the site's maintenance team, ensuring maximum equipment reliability, driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting operational performance across the factory.

Working closely with the wider leadership team, you'll be instrumental in delivering engineering excellence while helping shape the future of the maintenance function through ongoing investment in people, processes and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the engineering and maintenance team.
- Drive preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Improve plant reliability, efficiency and equipment performance.
- Manage engineering budgets, contractors and statutory compliance.
- Support capital investment projects and equipment upgrades.
- Promote a strong culture of health, safety and continuous improvement.
About You
- Previous Maintenance Management experience within food manufacturing or a similar FMCG environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- A proven track record of improving reliability and engineering performance.
- Experience implementing maintenance strategies and driving continuous improvement.
- The ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-moving manufacturing environment.
