Osprey Court Care Home is a purpose built 60 bed care home located in Pitcrocknie Village, adjacent to the town of Alyth in Perth and Kinross. Providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care, the home offers a modern, high quality environment where team members can build strong relationships, develop their skills and make a meaningful difference as part of a supportive and welcoming team.
Maintenance Manager Contract
- £14.50 per hour
- Contracted to 37.5-40 hours per week
- Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview
As Maintenance Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the upkeep, safety and presentation of the home, ensuring all building systems, equipment and environments are maintained to a high standard. This is a key leadership role where your organisation, technical knowledge and proactive approach will directly impact safety, compliance and daily experience.

You will oversee all maintenance activities across the building and grounds, including planned maintenance, reactive repairs and improvement projects. You will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with health and safety and regulatory requirements.
Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team, you will manage maintenance priorities, coordinate contractors where required and ensure a well organised, safe and fully functional environment at all times.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities or a similar role
- Experience managing maintenance operations or projects
- Good knowledge of general building, electrical and repair work
- Strong organisational and problem solving skills
- Understanding of health and safety and compliance requirements
- Ability to manage workload, priorities and external contractors
- A proactive and reliable approach
