About the Role

- Ensuring all maintenance checks are conducted.
- Maintaining a safe environment for residents, team members, and visitors.
- Supporting the high quality of service within the home.
Salary: Competitive, depending on skills and experience.
Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week, on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.
Location: Coronation Close, March, England, PE15 9PP.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure all minor repairs and plumbing are fixed within a timely manner.
- Maintain and repair electrical equipment, drainage systems, and the boiler house as needed.
- Upkeep decoration to the highest standard, dealing with snagging items promptly.
- Overall responsibility for conducting weekly tests of emergency systems within the home.
Training, Skills & Experience Required
- Essential:
- Experience in a similar maintenance role, ideally within a healthcare environment
- Excellent written, non-verbal, and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge and competence in building maintenance
- Computer skills to complete reporting duties
