Do you have a pipe dream of keeping our headquarters flowing smoothly?
Ever dreamed of being the mastermind behind a smoothly running office? Here's your chance to become a legend—** Maintenance Operative** is hiring and we’re looking for a superhero (without the cape) to join our team!
This isn’t your average wrench-wielding job. You’ll be a key part of our proactive maintenance team, ensuring that leaky pipes, flickering lights, or anything less than perfect never dampen spirits in the workplace.
About the Role
As the ultimate problem-solver, you’ll become the Willy Wonka of our workplace, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. Here’s what your maintenance paradise would look like:
- Diagnose and fix: Be a plumbing Sherlock Holmes, uncovering and fixing minor mechanical issues before they become major problems. ⛏️
- Lighting maestro: Ensure every corner of the office is bright and welcoming.
- Interpol artist: Channel your inner Michelangelo for some light painting and touch-ups to keep the space looking polished and professional.
- Resilient responder: Keep things pleasingly orderly by promptly attending to maintenance requests, big or small.
- Safety champion: Collaborate with security teams and ensure all colleagues are well-versed in Health & Safety protocols.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
