Maintenance Operative
About The Role
HC-One are seeking a Maintenance Operative with strong experience in:
- Maintenance
- Building work
- DIY
- Cleaning and housekeeping
You’ll need technical knowledge of:
- Mechanical and electrical systems
- IT skills (preferred, but not mandatory)
As a Maintenance Operative, your core responsibilities include:
- Ensuring residents live in a proactively inspected and brilliantly maintained home
- Conducting audits and maintaining up-to-date records
- Carrying out tasks such as:
- Replacing taps or mixer valves
- Fitting new extractor fans
- Repairing timber on bedroom windows
- Applying new wallpaper
- Delivering excellent service with a sense of kindness and empathy
Safeguarding Commitment
All colleagues are responsible for recognising and reporting signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect. Training will be provided, including:
- Role-specific safeguarding training
- Guidance on how to seek advice and escalate concerns
