Maintenance Operative

About The Role

HC-One are seeking a Maintenance Operative with strong experience in:

  • Maintenance
  • Building work
  • DIY
  • Cleaning and housekeeping

You’ll need technical knowledge of:

  • Mechanical and electrical systems
  • IT skills (preferred, but not mandatory)

As a Maintenance Operative, your core responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring residents live in a proactively inspected and brilliantly maintained home
  • Conducting audits and maintaining up-to-date records
  • Carrying out tasks such as:
    • Replacing taps or mixer valves
    • Fitting new extractor fans
    • Repairing timber on bedroom windows
    • Applying new wallpaper
  • Delivering excellent service with a sense of kindness and empathy

Safeguarding Commitment

All colleagues are responsible for recognising and reporting signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect. Training will be provided, including:

  • Role-specific safeguarding training
  • Guidance on how to seek advice and escalate concerns
