Maintenance Operative – New Build Homes
Location: Norfolk (ideally based around Norwich) Salary: £36,000 + van + fuel card
About the Role
I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing UK housebuilder for a Maintenance Operative to join their Customer Care team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced multi-skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and outstanding customer service. You'll be responsible for carrying out remedial works on newly built homes across the Norfolk area, ensuring homeowners receive the highest standard of aftercare.

- Carrying out multi-trade repairs and maintenance to occupied new-build homes.
- Completing carpentry, basic plumbing, decorating, making good, and general maintenance works.
- Diagnosing defects and completing repairs to a high standard.
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
- Liaising directly with homeowners, arranging appointments, and providing excellent customer service.
- Working safely at all times in line with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Ordering materials as required while minimising waste.
- Supporting the wider Customer Care team to ensure customer satisfaction remains a top priority.

About You
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Experience in carpentry, general maintenance, or a multi-trade environment.
- Basic plumbing and decorating skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- A full UK driving licence (essential).
