Maintenance Operative – Park Holidays UK
Compensation: £28,000 per annum Weekly Hours: 40

Overview
As a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for the general upkeep and repair of our holiday park facilities. Your duties will include:
- Carrying out routine maintenance
- Conducting repairs
- Ensuring the park's outdoor areas are well-maintained
You will play a key role in ensuring a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for our guests and staff.
Job Duties
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including:
- Plumbing
- Carpentry
- Electrical work
- General DIY duties
- Regularly inspect facilities and equipment, identifying and addressing potential issues to ensure safety and operation
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff to maintain high service standards
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work carried out, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Conduct maintenance work in line with health and safety regulations
- Undertake gardening and landscaping tasks, including:
- Mowing lawns
- Weeding
- Planting
- Maintaining an inviting appearance of outdoor areas

Requirements
- Proven experience in general maintenance, including basic:
- Plumbing
- Carpentry
- Electrical repairs
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Practical skills in DIY, repairs, and maintenance using hand tools and associated equipment
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and ability to ensure compliance in all tasks
- Ability to:
- Manage multiple tasks effectively
- Prioritise work
- Keep accurate maintenance records
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays if required
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required for this role
