Maintenance Operative
About The Role
HC-One are looking for a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in:
- Maintenance
- Building work
- DIY
- Cleaning
- Housekeeping technician skills including:
- Mechanical and electrical systems
- IT
Key to the role is communicating with compassion and kindness when interacting with residents or colleagues.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively ensure our residents live in well-maintained properties
- Conduct inspections and maintain accurate records
- Undertake repairs, improvements, and decorative work with a focus on quality and kindness:
- Replace taps, mixer valves & fittings (e.g., extractor fans)
- Repair window frames, doors, and structural elements
- Complete cosmetic touches (e.g., wallpapering)
- demonstrate professionalism, attentiveness, and proactive problem-solving in all tasks.
