A Day in the Life of a Maintenance Person
In this role, you will:
- Maintain the building and grounds, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assess and undertake repairs, including:
- Painting and decorating
- Grounds maintenance
- Plastering
- Repairing doors and windows
- Liaise with our head office team when work cannot be completed in-house, referring it to external contractors as needed
- Prioritise safety, ensuring the care home remains secure for all residents
- Record completed work in line with legislative and regulatory requirements
