Location: Wolverhampton EPMC

In the Manufacturing team at JLR’s Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC), you’ll help power iconic electric cars. You will be working alongside incredible technicians and leaders to drive our commitment to shape a future we truly believe in, together. We have an opportunity for the right person to join our electrification maintenance team at the EPMC in Wolverhampton.

You will be working alongside 4 other maintenance process leaders and will have a team TL’s and IMT’s reporting directly into you. This role will be aligned to one of the technologies within EDU/BATTERY.

What To Expect

In this role, you will take accountability for leading Electrification Maintenance performance across multiple production lines, developing and engaging your team. Delivering safe, reliable and efficient manufacturing operations. Here’s what to expect.

  • Lead proactive maintenance strategies (PPM/PM) to maximise uptime and performance.
  • Manage people, capability, safety and wellbeing within a safe system of work.
  • Own assets, history, systems and budgets using SAP and maintenance tools.
  • Drive root cause analysis, continuous improvement and audit readiness (PQ, CQ, External).
  • Collaborate with production, R&M, vendors and contractors to deliver shared objectives.

  • Proven maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing.
  • Strong people leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
  • NVQ Level 3 (minimum) in Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
  • Confident user of SAP and modern maintenance technologies.
  • Experience with Lean systems, safety standards and compliance.
