About the Role:

As Maintenance Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for growing Primech's Maintenance Division by securing new maintenance and compliance contracts across both public and private sectors.

This is a proactive business development role focused on building long-term client relationships and generating recurring revenue through planned preventative maintenance (PPM), compliance services, and reactive maintenance agreements. You'll work closely with facilities managers, property managers, building owners, and end users to understand their needs and develop suitable maintenance solutions.

Working alongside our Operations, Estimating, and Senior Leadership Teams, you'll manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to contract award and mobilisation, helping drive the continued growth of Primech's maintenance portfolio.

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new maintenance and compliance opportunities across healthcare, education, commercial, blue-light, local authority, and industrial sectors
  • Build relationships with facilities managers, property managers, building owners, trusts, and other key decision-makers
  • Monitor contract renewals, retenders, frameworks, and market activity to maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities
  • Secure opportunities through approved contractor lists, framework agreements, and long-term service partnerships
  • Share market intelligence, sector trends, and competitor activity with the Senior Leadership Team

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, acting as the main commercial point of contact throughout the sales process
  • Develop existing client relationships while identifying opportunities for contract growth, retention, and referrals
  • Represent Primech at networking events, industry forums, and client meetings to promote our services and generate new opportunities
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including opportunities, contract renewals, activity, and revenue forecasts
  • Work closely with Operations and Contracts Teams to ensure a smooth transition from contract award to mobilisation

Proposals & Pricing

  • Meet with prospective clients to understand maintenance requirements, compliance obligations, service expectations, and budgets
  • Assess opportunities and contribute to bid/no-bid decisions alongside Operations and the Senior Leadership Team
  • Coordinate proposals, pricing, and service solutions to ensure they are competitive, compliant, and operationally deliverable
  • Attend site surveys and asset inspections to support accurate scoping and proposal development
  • Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contract terms, and secure profitable maintenance agreements
  • Review unsuccessful bids and identify opportunities to improve future submissions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
