Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer or Fabric Engineer looking for a varied, hands-on role?

A leading workplace and facilities management company is looking for a Maintenance Specialist to join its expanding team, maintaining high-quality office environments across London Zones 1 and 2. This is a mobile role where no two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of client sites carrying out reactive maintenance, repairs and fit-out support.

The Role

As The Maintenance Specialist, You Will

  • Carry out first-line maintenance, diagnosing faults and completing repairs or arranging specialist contractors where required.
  • Deliver a wide range of reactive maintenance including plumbing, minor electrical works, decorating, carpentry and general fabric repairs.
  • Complete site inspections and identify larger repair requirements.
  • Support office fit-outs and tenant move-ins, including mounting TVs, installing whiteboards and completing finishing works.
  • Oversee contractor works to ensure they are completed safely and to a high standard.
  • Travel between sites across London using public transport, managing your workload through a mobile job management system.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Previous experience within Facilities Management, Building Maintenance or Construction.
  • A Level 2 City & Guilds qualification in Electrical, Plumbing or Carpentry.
  • Experience carrying out general building maintenance and fault finding.
  • A good understanding of electrical, plumbing and general building systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • A professional, customer-focused approach with confidence working in occupied buildings.
  • The ability to work independently while also being part of a supportive team.
