Maintenance Supervisor
Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader – Lincoln & Peterborough (Location: Mobile)
Role Overview
- Location: Mobile – Covering Lincoln & Peterborough
- Salary: £43,000 per annum + car allowance (£4,620 pa) + overtime
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:30 to 16:30
- Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role
You will be responsible for providing technical support for Electrical & Mechanical Services, overseeing planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and technical excellence to ensure maximum operational efficiency. This includes collaborating with Safety, Health, and Environment (HSE) teams and driving continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do

Lead and Develop the Team:
- Guide the Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance team through communication, training, and development.
- Ensure competency in key technical areas through structured training programmes.

Maintain Efficient Operations:
- Develop and manage a cost-effective maintenance programme for buildings, plant, and systems.
- Evaluate requirements, produce proposals (including cost & timescales), and monitor works to ensure customer and regulatory satisfaction.
- Ensure continuity of critical site systems and equipment.

Support Design & Project Management:
- Provide engineering support for minor site refurbishments and equipment installations.

Drive Safety & Compliance:
- Work with Site HSE&Q teams to improve Safety, Health & Environment (SHE), and risk management practices.
- Regularly monitor safety performance and identify areas for improvement.

Financial & HR Management:
- Assist the Services Manager - Assets in managing HR, budgets, financial forecasting, and reporting.
- Develop trusted supplier relationships to optimise efficiency and streamline procurement.

Ensure Service Excellence:
- Establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to uphold high service quality.
- Grow the M&E business unit by aligning with SLAs and KPIs.
- Identify training & development needs, including competency assessments.

Change & Stakeholder Management:
- Drive "change management" for business improvements (services, systems, processes).
- Maintain regular contact with customer representatives and attend meetings as required.
Key Requirements
You will be judged on:

Leadership & Technical Expertise:
- Ability to set and enforce high standards in quality, safety, and operational performance.
- Minimum engineering qualification of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

Industry Experience:
- Strong background in Maintenance Management (Electrical & Mechanical Engineering).
- Proven supervisory experience, with responsibility for engineering tasks.

Commercial Acumen & Financial Mindset:
- Skilled in budgeting, negotiation, and financial management.
