An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance activities within a busy manufacturing environment in Chesterfield. You'll be responsible for driving equipment reliability, coordinating maintenance teams, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production assets.

Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance engineers and technicians across the site.
- Coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to maximise equipment uptime.
- Manage and prioritise reactive maintenance activities, ensuring production disruptions are minimised.
- Monitor maintenance performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support fault-finding and technical problem-solving on manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Manage maintenance records, work orders, and engineering documentation.
- Assist with capital projects, equipment upgrades, and installation activities.
- Liaise with production and management teams to achieve operational targets.
- Support the development and training of maintenance personnel.

Profile
The Successful Candidate:
- Previous experience in a Maintenance Supervisor, Engineering Team Leader, or similar leadership role.
- Strong background within manufacturing, heavy engineering, foundry, or industrial environments.
- Electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications, ideally supported by apprenticeship training.
- Proven experience managing maintenance teams and activities.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational performance.
