About The Role
YMCA Trinity Group is looking for an experienced and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to join our Facilities team in Cambridge. This is a hands-on role that combines practical maintenance expertise with team leadership, helping to ensure our buildings remain safe, compliant, and welcoming for the people we support.
The successful candidate will lead on a wide range of maintenance activities across our sites, coordinate day-to-day facilities requirements, support a small maintenance team, and contribute to the ongoing development of our maintenance strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance and repair work across YMCA sites.
- Lead and support a small maintenance team to deliver high-quality work.
- Respond to maintenance requests and ensure jobs are completed on time.
- Help maintain health and safety, fire safety, and statutory compliance standards.
- Support building improvement projects and the smooth day-to-day running of facilities.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a practical and organised maintenance professional with strong problem-solving skills and previous experience in building maintenance and team supervision.
- Experience in building maintenance, repairs, or facilities management.
- Experience supervising or supporting a team.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Basic knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, or fire safety.

Days and hours - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will also participate in an on-call rota.
