About the Role
As Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-date running of a team of craftsmen, semi-skilled staff, and contract staff, ensuring compliance with Health Board standards, policies, and procedures. You will provide technical advice, training, and support where needed, fostering a culture of improvement and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain broad practical knowledge of engineering and building practices, guiding the team through technical challenges.
- Ensure all maintenance repairs, minor works, and planned preventative maintenance are completed efficiently.
- Supervise a multidisciplinary team, including contract staff, to meet operational standards.
- Provide technical advisory, training, and mentorship to develop staff skills and support long-term career growth.
- Ensure full compliance with Health Board policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Manage resources effectively to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
