Role Type: Permanent Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Location: Milton Park, Abingdon (onsite role)
Aptuit is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Maintenance & Facilities Teams, managing key engineering tasks while aligning with statutory, cGMP and EHS guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities
- Manage an internal maintenance team, including Performance Management, training needs, and holiday requests.
- Assign maintenance tasks to ensure teams are appropriately assigned and properly trained; request training via line management where required.
- Collaborate with the Planner/Scheduler to monitor workloads, plan work according to site procedures, and GxP compliance.
- Utilise CMMS metrics to track performance; identify and address issues, escalating concerns to Engineering Management.
- Ensure all maintenance work (GMP, EHS, Statutory patched), completion is accurate and timely while reporting or escalating emissions.
- Review planned and reactive work weekly with Production and Engineers to assess equipment and resource availability.
- Maintain tools and equipment for efficiency and functionality.
- Review and sign off on all completed work orders; raise Follow-Up Work Orders (FOWO) as necessary and escalate urgent quality or safety issues.
- Encourage maintenance issue reporting, designing continuous improvements in work tasks and procedures.
- Erect requisitions through the ERP system and act as the point of contact for associated purchasing/finance queries.
- Proactively raise Deviations, Change Controls and CAPA relevant to the team’s responsibilities.
- Support audits conducted over team activities.

Secondary Responsibilities
- Coordinate contractor visits, conduct inductions, issue Permits to Work, and monitor contractor activities.
- Ensure housekeeping standards across plant rooms and workshops remain high.
