Maintenance Surveyor

Maintenance Surveyor – Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience

Location

Covering a patch in Cumbria

What you’ll do

  • Inspect properties and oversee repairs within your assigned area.
  • Provide clear, technical advice to tradespeople and contractors.
  • Manage disrepair cases, including addressing damp and mould.
  • Supervise building works to ensure timelines are met.
  • Prepare empty homes quickly for re-letting.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Qualify in one or more:

  • Degree, HNC/HND in Surveying or Construction, or membership of the MCIOB. -PC AC customer": PCAQT and HHSRS certification (or a commitment to pursuing it). -Experience in:
    • Diagnosing property issues.
    • Specifying remedial works for housing.
    • Understanding building pathology,including subsidence.
    • Managing contractors.
    • Ensuring health and safety compliance.
