Maintenance Surveyor
Maintenance Surveyor
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum, dependent upon qualifications and experience
- Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Cumbria (covering a patch)

What you’ll do
- Inspect properties and manage repairs across your assigned patch
- Provide clear technical advice to trades and contractors
- Handle disrepair cases and address damp and mould issues
- Oversee building works and ensure delivery meets agreed timelines
- Prepare empty homes quickly for re-let

You are
- Qualified to HNC/HND/Degree level in Surveying or Construction, or MCIOB
- Knowledgeable in damp and mould, holding PCAQT and HHSRS, or willing to gain this qualification
- Experienced in diagnosing property issues and specifying remedial works
- Knowledgeable in building pathology, including subsidence
- Experienced in managing contractors and ensuring health and safety compliance

The practical bits
- You’ll work Monday to Friday
- You’ll manage your own diary
- Cover North Lakes patch, including travel and home working
- Use your own vehicle (insured for business use) – we pay your mileage
- Basic DBS required (we pay that)
