Maintenance Surveyor

Mantenimiento Inspector – Cumbria

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum, dependant upon qualifications and experience Hours: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hpw) Location: Covering a patch in Cumbria Note: Company Supported (CoS) may not be available for this role

Key responsibilities

  • Inspect properties and oversee repair work across your patch
  • Provide technical advice to contractors
  • Investigate damp, mould, and disrepair cases
  • Coordinate building works, ensuring timely completion and compliance
  • Streamline preparations for empty property re-lets

Required qualifications and experience

  • DipHE/HNC/HND/Degree in Surveying or Construction
  • Or membership in the MCIOB
  • Hands-on knowledge of damp, mould, and property pathology, including:
    • PCAQT qualification
    • HHSRS certification (or willingness to gain both)
  • Expertise in:
    • Diagnosing property issues
    • Specifying remedial solutions
    • Assessing subsidence risk
  • Proven track record in:
    • Managing trades/businesses
    • Ensuring health and safety compliance
