Location: Oxfordshire (Head Office, Didcot) + Primary Travel Throughout Greater London Salary: £38,000–£43,000 per year | Full-Time Perks: Company Van, Bonus Scheme
About the Role
At Leaflike Group, we design, create, and care for exceptional planting schemes, enhancing luxury hotels, commercial spaces, and prestigious venues across the UK.
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to lead our growing maintenance team, continue delivering outstanding service, and shape the future of a leading biophilic maintenance business.
This role combines hands-on horticultural expertise with leadership opportunities. You’ll cook, mentor technicians, maintain high customer service standards, and nurture strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
As the Maintenance Team Leader, you will:
- Lead and support a team of Horticultural and Lifelike Maintenance Technicians.
- Manage a portfolio of premium maintenance contracts.
- Conduct high-quality horticultural maintenance, including interior and exterior planting schemes.
- Coach and motivate technicians to meet Leaflike’s 5-star service standards.
- Optimise planning, scheduling, and logistics for site visits.
- Act as the first point of contact for technician queries.
- Build client relationships and identify opportunities for improved service.
- Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance reports, photographs, and site records.
- Uphold safety standards and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
Requirements
We are seeking a self-driven leader with:
- Significant hands-on horticultural maintenance experience.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, or supervise field-based teams.
- A commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Strong organisation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A full UK driving licence with confidence in London driving and occasional national travel.
- Willingness to work outdoors and travel between multiple sites.

Desirable Qualifications
- RHS qualifications or horticultural expertise.
- Experience in high-end commercial or hospitality environments.
- Proficiency in scheduling or field maintenance software.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, interior planting, artificial walls, or greenery maintenance.
