The Lilacs, our residential care home in Exeter, is looking for a Maintenance Person to work 20 hours per week.
The Maintenance Person performs a wide variety of maintenance and repair duties including preventative, emergency, cosmetic, and routine maintenance for the care home. The nature of the work requires physical effort and problem solving in performing tasks.

Main responsibilities include:
- Repairs
- Painting/decorating
- Plumbing
- Electrical repairs
- Plastering
- Clearing drains
- Test fire alarms and emergency lights
- Some gardening and exterior work

You will also be required to read and write reports, take part in care team meetings and in training activities as directed.
You should have good experience of general DIY including basic carpentry, painting, and decorating. Ideally, two years' experience in a similar role.
