Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic full-time Maintenance Team Member to support our teams across Novotel & ibis London Blackfriars hotels, a dual-position role spanning both properties.
Shift Details
- Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM (times vary based on operational needs)
- Weekend availability is essential, with full weekly flexibility required
- Full-time position
Key Responsibilities
As our Maintenance Team Member, you will:
- Perform preventative maintenance and carry out regular safety and maintenance inspections to ensure a pleasant and safe environment for colleagues, guests, and visitors
- Handle general maintenance tasks across:
- Plumbing
- Electrical systems
- Telecommunications
- Heating
- Carpentry
- Decorating
- Conduct routine premises and equipment inspections, carrying out basic repairs and maintenance
- Install, inspect, and troubleshoot equipment, appliances, and systems
- Apply hotel security regulations (e.g., fire safety protocols)
- Actively contribute to guest and visitor comfort
- Identify areas for improvement and promote risk awareness

Qualifications & Experience
While previous hotel maintenance background is ideal, we also consider experience in:
- Construction
- General maintenance work
