Key Duties and Responsibilities

No two days will be the same in this role. One day you could be fault-finding a critical piece of manufacturing equipment to get production back up and running while the next you could be supporting the installation of new machinery or carrying out preventative maintenance to avoid future issues.

You'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment faults, carrying out planned preventative maintenance activities and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently. You'll take a proactive approach to identifying equipment issues before they become problems - helping to improve reliability and minimise disruption to production.

You'll also support the wider maintenance team with spare parts management, equipment moves and facility improvements whilst maintaining accurate documentation and maintenance records. Working collaboratively across the business, you'll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that help improve equipment performance, reduce breakdowns and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Experience and Qualifications

We're looking for someone with a strong technical background who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You will ideally hold an Apprenticeship, BTEC or HNC qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and have proven experience fault-finding and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment. You'll be comfortable working with a variety of systems and technologies including PLCs, inverters, motors, conveyors, gearboxes, pneumatics, sensors and safety systems.

Experience maintaining industrial robots would be highly beneficial as would previous exposure to automotive manufacturing environments. Just as importantly, you'll be a proactive problem solver with a strong focus on safety, reliability and continuous improvement. A flexible approach and willingness to support business requirements across varying work patterns is essential.

Why Aston Martin?

This is more than a maintenance role. It's an opportunity to be part of one of the world's most iconic luxury automotive brands.

You'll join a passionate and supportive team where your expertise will be valued, your ideas will be heard and your contribution will directly support the production of some of the most desirable vehicles in the world. Whether you're improving equipment reliability, supporting new installations or responding to critical breakdowns, your work will play an important role in helping Aston Martin deliver excellence every single day.
