Location: Staverton, Wiltshire
Working Pattern: The role is shift based, working 12 hour rotating shifts, following a set shift pattern including weekend working.
Salary £57,900.00 + potential bonus + generous pension scheme + other fantastic benefits!

To help us achieve our ambitions, we are expanding our Engineering team and looking for talented Maintenance Technicians to help shape the future of our factory.
This is an opportunity to work in a modern manufacturing environment where your expertise will make a real difference. You'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our equipment, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operations that keep our production lines running at their best.
Working closely with Operations and Engineering colleagues, you'll help drive performance through planned maintenance, continuous improvement initiatives and rapid fault resolution. Your contribution will directly impact safety, quality, efficiency and product availability across the site.

A Day in the Life of a Maintenance Technician
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be a trusted technical expert, supporting departments across the Staverton factory and helping to ensure our equipment and processes operate safely and effectively.

Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining process, packing and utility equipment to maximise reliability and performance.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs to minimise downtime.
- Supporting planned preventative maintenance activities.
- Ensuring compliance with site safety procedures and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Issuing permits to work and following safe isolation procedures.
- Supporting plant start-ups, shutdowns and product changeovers.
- Using our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to record work and analyse equipment performance.
- Creating, completing and managing work orders.
- Supporting continuous improvement and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
- Contributing to spare parts control and equipment purchasing decisions.
- Maintaining product quality, integrity and food safety standards.
- Sharing knowledge, coaching colleagues and supporting skill development within the team.
- Communicating effectively across shifts to ensure smooth operations.
- Taking responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others.
What Will Make You Successful?
We're looking for people who are passionate about engineering, enjoy solving problems and are motivated by working as part of a team.
You'll ideally have:
- An HNC, ONC, NVQ or equivalent qualification in a mechanical or electrical engineering discipline.
- Completed an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working within a manufacturing or factory maintenance environment.
- Experience working with PLC-controlled high-speed production, packing or process equipment.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience using maintenance management systems and preventative maintenance programmes.
- Good IT skills, including working with PC-controlled machinery and engineering systems.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem solving.
