We’re seeking a Shift Maintenance Technician to support a highly automated customer site for a globally recognised organisation. You’ll maintain and repair automated material handling equipment, ensuring strong system performance, KPI delivery, and excellent service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, repair, and service equipment on site Ensure system performance meets KPI targets Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, PLC, and PC-related faults Carry out planned maintenance and scheduled repairs Prioritise faults to maintain product flow Record maintenance activity and manage spare parts Support continuous improvement initiatives Maintain Health & Safety compliance and professional customer relationships

What We’re Looking For:
NVQ / ONC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) Experience with automated material handling/conveyor systems Basic PLC and fault-finding knowledge Good PC skills and understanding of PPM Strong Health & Safety awareness (IOSH desirable) Willingness to work at height and manage contractors if needed
