About the Role
As an Engineering Maintenance Technician, you will play an imperative part in supporting the pre-planned and reactive maintenance within our state-of-the-art automated fulfilment centre in Erith.
What you will be doing
- Carry out maintenance on production equipment in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
- Diagnose equipment breakdowns, resolving issues and action repairs where possible.
- Update engineering records, including all work carried out, as well as supporting the identification of root cause of failures.
- Confirmation of spares and consumables will be part of your role along
- Ensuring the Computerised Maintenance Management System is updated with accurate data to meet Engineering KPIs.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to analyse engineering failures and find solutions to improve Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) performance.
- You will work on a days-based shift pattern to support our operation and should be comfortable working at height.

About you
- A formal engineering-related qualification would be advantageous.
- You will have a basic technical understanding relating to automation hardware and software would be beneficial.
- Demonstrable analytical skills with sound problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, along with good organisation skills and ability to prioritise are essential.
- Working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, conveyors would be advantageous.
