Monday - Friday | Double Days (6:00am-2:00pm / 2:00pm-10:00pm)
Are you a Maintenance Technician looking to join a well-established manufacturing business that's entering an exciting new chapter?
Based in Preston, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful manufacturer that is making significant investments into its people, processes and equipment. With ambitious growth plans and ongoing site improvements, you'll be joining at an exciting time where engineering plays a key role in the company's future.
Working within a diverse manufacturing environment, you'll maintain and improve a combination of automated production machinery and industrial plant, ensuring equipment reliability and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

The Role:
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across the site.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Maintain a range of automated manufacturing equipment and industrial machinery.
- Support continuous improvement projects to enhance reliability and performance.
- Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
About You:
- Experience working as a Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Engineer or Multi-Skilled Engineer within manufacturing.
- Strong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Comfortable working on automated production equipment as well as industrial machinery.
- A proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent) are desirable.
