About the Role
As our Maintenance Technician, you’ll support Waters Services Contracts by performing both planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical assets. Your role will require:
- Diagnosing and resolving faults with strong problem-solving and electrical/basic maintenance skills
- Travelling between multiple sites in your assigned area using a provided company vehicle
- Ensuring Health and Safety standards are upheld for yourself, colleagues, clients, and the public
- Reporting on faults, documenting repairs, and collaborating with colleagues across departments

You’ll wear many hats—from ad-hoc technical fixes to structured long-term maintenance—playing a key part in sustaining critical operational assets. A full UK driving licence is mandatory as this role involves multi-site travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Minimise non-operational assets and reduce downtime
- Join a standby rota to handle out-of-hours maintenance demands
- Warrant compliance with statutory policies and company safety standards
- Train colleagues and share technical expertise
- Deliver courteous customer service across sites
- Diagnose and repair faulty equipment, compiling detailed technical reports
Skills & Experience
To excel here, you must bring:
- A solid foundation in general mechanical maintenance
- Desirable electrical maintenance skills (or willingness to develop)
- Experience with IT systems supporting data and administrative workflows
- Commitment to continuous learning and hands-on problem-solving
