Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician who enjoys fault-finding rather than simply replacing parts? Do you take pride in getting to the root cause of machinery failures? Would you like to join a global manufacturer where your engineering expertise really makes a difference?
DENSO Marston Ltd, based in Shipley, West Yorkshire, is part of the global DENSO Corporation, one of the world's leading automotive technology manufacturers. We design and manufacture high-performance heat exchange units and cooling modules for leading OEMs across the off-highway, construction and agricultural sectors.
We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with either an Electrical or Mechanical bias to join our night shift maintenance team. This role focuses on diagnosing faults, maintaining production machinery and improving equipment reliability across a diverse range of manufacturing equipment, from well-established legacy machines through to newer automated systems.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
