Maintenance Technician (2 SHIFT) Early + Afternoon
Cardiff, South Wales

To carry out maintenance activities to equipment, site processes, and services in line with manufacturers' / legal recommended intervals and standards. Ensuring that the service supplied is of the highest possible standard and fits with production needs and requirements.
Role And Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all production equipment.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, process changeovers, safety actions, and machine setups.
- Participate in installation qualifications, risk assessments, PUWER, and LOTO procedures.
- Collaborate with process engineering to monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- Hold an apprenticeship or equivalent formal qualifications (NVQ 3, HNC, or BTEC) in production maintenance manufacture with an electrical OR mechanical background.
- Thrive under time pressure, working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Motivated, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and on-time deliveries.
- Mechanical maintenance experience.
- Experience with PLCs: able to interrogate and modify PLC software (Siemens / Mitsubishi).
