Full Time Maintenance Fitter (Mechanical/Plumber) - Band 5

About the Role
The Maintenance Fitter (Mechanical/Plumber) will play a critical role within the Estates team, responsible for maintaining a wide range of mechanical systems and equipment across all properties belonging to Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust.
Salary: £32,073 to £39,043 per annum (Band 5)
Responsibilities
The role will entail:
- Performing reactive, planned preventative, and scheduled maintenance on mechanical and plumbing services across the Trust’s extensive estate, including 50+ sites across Coventry, Warwickshire, and Solihull.
- Ensuring strict statutory compliance for all mechanical and plumbing systems.
- Maintaining and repairing engineering plant and services across both on-site and off-site properties.
- Collaborating with the Operational Estates Management team to uphold safety, functionality, and suitability of all facilities within the Trusted.
- Operating under an on-call rota (mandatory participation required).

Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A completed mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent training at Level 3 or higher.
- An appropriate mechanical/plumbing qualification.
- Significant experience working in reactive, planned preventative, and scheduled maintenance.
Additionally, candidates must be happy to:
- Operate in an on-call system for urgent maintenance calls.
