Maintenance Technician - PM Shift

Maintenance Technician Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - PM Shift - 2PM-11PM Location: West Bromwich Salary: £55,000 + Excellent Benefits Package + Training and Qualifications + Overtime

About the Role As a Maintenance Technician, you will be working closely with the Engineering Team and carry out daily electrical maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out in line with appropriate Health & Safety instructions and site policies.

Key Responsibilities You will be required to carry out daily electrical and mechanical maintenance on machinery and production equipment Ensure the work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations using Safe Systems of Work Working within a fast-paced environment, covering afternoon shifts as well as covering all the electrical engineering maintenance

About You You will have qualifications either at NVQ / HNC or City & Guilds Level in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Maintenance. Alternatively, we will also consider applicants who have completed their apprenticeships scheme in electrical engineering.

Key Skills NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical or electrical discipline Fault-finding and problem-solving skills Familiarity with preventative maintenance and continuous improvement Experience in FMCG or fast-paced environments (food manufacturing preferred but not essential) 18th Edition Electrical Certificate is advantageous

This is a permanent role based at our site UK Poultry - Amber site in West Bromwich, Monday to Friday 2pm - 11pm.
