Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Starting from £41,761 + Overtime + Annual Bonus (£1,500) + 25 days leave + 8 days Bank Holiday + Pay Increases + Excellent Benefits + Pension + Training + Progression + Home-Based + Van + Monday–Friday
Severn Trent is hiring Mechanical Maintainers across the region, with roles in the South Birmingham area. With this role, you'll be required to travel across Worcester and Gloucester.
This is a regional role, where you’ll be based from a site near your home and provided with a company vehicle, mobile, safety gear, and tools. Hours: Mon–Thu 7:30–3:30, Fri 7:30–3:00, plus generous overtime opportunities, standby will be required.
What You’ll Need
- NVQ Level 3 Mechanical qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience gained from process plants in any industry

Our treatment works operate as complex process plants, just like those in manufacturing, energy, or other industrial sectors. If you’ve worked with process control systems and have a working knowledge of industrial mechanical installation requirements and standards, your skills will transfer seamlessly.

This role has a clear development path from Foundation to Skilled and Expert. Salary starts at £41,761, rising to £45,164 with qualifications and experience.
