The job exists to provide a full engineering service to production and site facilities including reactive, predictive and preventative maintenance, Electrical and mechanical on all equipment, while maintaining company health & safety policies & standards at all times over a three shift pattern Monday - Friday.
Technicians also carry out modifications to the existing equipment and the installation of new equipment.
A Day in the Life
- Work safely and comply to company operational excellence safety and environmental standards at all times.
- Preventative Maintenance
- Breakdown repairs
- Installation of new equipment and modifications to the existing equipment
- To provide support for improvements to the plant efficiency and productivity.
- Assist with maintaining the highest quality possible for all our products.
- Able to work alone and within a team environment
- Must be able to fault find on all types of mechanical and electrical equipment.

You Bring This Value
Education:
- Electrical or Mechatronic apprenticeship to ONC/HNC Level, with experience/knowledge of mechanical engineering aspects, 18th Edition Regs certification and HV switching certification would be advantageous but not essential.
- Able to work alone and within a team environment.
- Must be able to fault find on all types of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Must be able to communicate engineering and maintenance issues within the maintenance & production/operations team at all levels
Work Experience:
- Has served a 4 yr apprenticeship with a minimum of 5 years on the job experience. Electrical or Mechantronic apprenticeship with experience/knowledge of mechanical engineering aspects.

- Communication – be able to communicate clearly and consistently, using the most appropriate method, to deliver the required message with the desired effect

Other Skills:
- High level of IT competency; fluent in Microsoft Office applications, experience in SAP CMMS, High Voltage switching and 18th addition regs would be advantageous.
What We Offer
UK Based package:
- Participation in the Company’s discretionary short-term incentive (bonus) programme. Currently, the full-year target bonus for this position is 6% of base salary
- Salary Sacrifice Pension scheme with employer contributions matching double employee contributions to maximum of 10% employer contributions.
