Account Manager
Haydock | Monday to Friday | 07:30 – 17:00 | 42 Hours per Week

We're looking for a commercially driven Account Manager who thrives on developing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities and growing existing accounts. The Role
You'll take ownership of a portfolio of key accounts, building trusted relationships with customers while identifying opportunities to increase revenue through our extensive range of hire solutions and value-added services.
Working closely with operational teams and specialists across the business, you'll ensure customers receive exceptional service while delivering sustainable sales growth and maximising account potential.
Whether you're on-site with customers, attending meetings or developing strategic account plans, you'll play a key role in helping our customers deliver successful construction projects safely, efficiently and on time.

What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and growing a portfolio of key construction and infrastructure customers.
- Identifying opportunities to introduce additional products, services and specialist hire solutions.
- Developing long-term strategic relationships with key decision makers.
- Delivering against sales, revenue and profitability targets.
- Producing and executing account development plans to maximise customer spend.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Monitoring market activity and identifying new business opportunities within your region.
- Acting as a trusted advisor, ensuring customers receive the right solutions for every project.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in Account Management, Business Development or Technical Sales.
- Experience within construction, plant hire, tool hire, industrial supplies or a related sector is highly desirable.
- A strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify and convert sales opportunities.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience managing strategic or major customer accounts.
- Financial and commercial awareness.
- Self-motivated with excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
