About The Role

We’re looking for a brilliant, confident and deeply passionate Makeup Artist & Education Lead to help shape the next chapter of Tropic’s makeup journey.

This is a rare opportunity to join a purpose-led beauty brand at a pivotal moment, as we develop and launch a new generation of high-performance makeup products designed to challenge the industry. Our upcoming makeup range will combine beautiful colour, effortless application and skin-loving performance, using natural-origin ingredients and skincare benefits to prove that clean, conscious makeup can still deliver exceptional results.

You’ll be the face and voice of makeup education for our Ambassador community, creating inspiring content, tutorials and training that helps thousands of people feel more confident applying, recommending and selling makeup. You’ll also play a hands-on role in product development, helping us refine shades, textures, application techniques and education around the range.

This role is ideal for a certified makeup artist who is as comfortable on camera as they are behind the scenes. Someone warm, charismatic, credible and infectious - with the artistry to inspire, the communication skills to educate, and the product instinct to help us create something genuinely different.

Key Responsibilities

Makeup education and content.

  • Create and deliver engaging makeup education for Ambassadors, customers and our wider community
  • Film confident, inspiring tutorials, tips and application content for digital channels, training platforms and launches
  • Break down techniques in a simple, accessible and empowering way for all confidence levels
  • Develop education across complexion, colour, placement, application, tools, skin prep and product layering
  • Help Ambassadors feel confident recommending and demonstrating makeup to their customers

Community and Makeup Collective leadership

  • Help nurture our Makeup Collective — around 100 community members helping shape the range
  • Build strong relationships with Collective members, creating an inclusive environment where people feel heard
  • Gather feedback and translate community insights into product and education recommendations
  • Bring people together through live sessions, demonstrations and collaborative learning

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
