Makeup Education Host & Course Facilitator

Location: P.Louise Trafford Store
Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident, and experienced Makeup Education Host & Course Facilitator to deliver exceptional educational experiences within our P.Louise Trafford Store.

This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about makeup artistry, loves working with people of all ages, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. As the face of our in-store courses, you will create engaging, memorable experiences while ensuring every guest feels welcomed, inspired, and supported throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a variety of P.Louise makeup courses and educational experiences to a high standard.
  • Confidently demonstrate professional makeup application techniques while educating attendees.
  • Create a fun, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all participants.
  • Lead children’s makeup experiences with energy, patience, and creativity, ensuring they remain entertained, involved, and excited throughout the session.
  • Communicate professionally and confidently with parents and accompanying adults, providing a warm, informative, and welcoming experience.
  • Adapt teaching styles to suit different ages, abilities, and levels of makeup experience.
  • Ensure each course runs smoothly, on time, and in line with the P.Louise brand standards.
  • Prepare and maintain workstations, products, tools, and equipment before and after each session.
  • Maintain exceptional hygiene standards and follow all health and safety procedures.
  • Represent the P.Louise brand with professionalism, positivity, and enthusiasm at all times.
  • Encourage customer engagement and confidently recommend relevant P.Louise products where appropriate.
  • Support with store events, workshops, seasonal activations, and special experiences when required.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Trafford Store team to ensure an outstanding customer journey.

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Previous professional makeup experience (qualified or industry experience preferred).
  • Excellent makeup application skills across a variety of styles and techniques.
  • Experience delivering makeup lessons, workshops, or educational sessions is desirable.
  • A confident, outgoing, and engaging personality.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A genuine passion for educating and inspiring others.
  • Experience working with children or hosting family-friendly events is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
  • The ability to remain calm, approachable, and professional in a busy retail environment.
