Male Clean Team member
Clean Team Member (East Kilbride) – Permanent | Part-time (10 hours/week)
Salary: £26,707.20 pro rata per annum

About the Role
We are seeking a Male Cleaner to focus on maintaining hygiene in our male changing rooms, as part of our core Clean Team in our East Kilbride gym. While this is the primary responsibility, we offer training, a supportive work environment, and opportunities to develop.
To support our mission, we require a:

- Someone who is organisationally strong with clear attention to detail
- A reliable team player with excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities
As a Clean Team Member, your duties will include:
- Using SFC (Safe, Fast, Clean) techniques to maintain sanitation and hygiene across gym floors, showers, pools, changing rooms, and public areas
- Handling waste removal efficiently and safely
- Performing periodic deep cleaning tasks as required
- Maintaining awareness of infection control protocol
- Operating cleaning equipment safely (e.g., scrubber dryers, rotary machines, carpet cleaners)
- Working independently but under supervision from a Team Leader
Desired Experience & Skills
While some cleaning experience is beneficial, we provide comprehensive training. Ideal candidates will have:
- A pride in presentation and attention to detail
- Good communication and a professional demeanour
- Manual dexterity & physical fitness for lifting and moving
- Time management skills (with some supervision)
