About the Role:
Paragon Home Healthcare is hiring a live-in care assistant for a friendly and active Irish man with a spinal cord injury. Despite his injury, which he's had for many years, he remains highly independent, spontaneous, and busy. He leads an active lifestyle and is looking for a care assistant who can support him in his daily activities while respecting his independence. He requires a live-in carer to help assist him with moving and handling, his daily tasks etc. He likes chatting and socialising, visiting the cinema, gym and his family and he has a car he uses for daily trips out, therefore he will need a carer who can drive. This role will suit someone who enjoys a physical and active role as the client transfers frequently requiring specific moving and handling procedures and enjoys being active most days. He lives in a spacious home with a garden with his partner, his family often visit who have a dog.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
