Bluebird Care – Support Worker (Care Assistant/Expert) Colchester & Tendring | Care Delivery | £13.90–£17.80 per hour

Welcome to the Team Who Loves to Have Fun

Because we’re the best at what we do, we won Home Care Employer of the Year 2025 at the Great British Care Awards.

Our philosophy? "Always say thank you" and make every day fulfilling. Imagined your role could be full of:

  • Going out for walks
  • Swimming or trips to the beach
  • Daily fun and highs through rewarding care
  • Professional growth with paid training and free uniforms
  • Competitive awards (monthly prizes) and a pension scheme

Why We Stick Out

We’ll leave you in no doubt we’re here to make care remarkable—with joy woven into every aspect. Some signature moments:

  • Holiday cheer: Christmas parties featuring arts & crafts, giggly music, biscuit decorating, dancing, and luxurious hot chocolates.
  • Halloween antics: Staff and clients teamed up for pumpkin-carving competitions.
  • Community carnival: Costumed as Grease characters, turning Clacton Carnival into a glitter-filled team outing with arts workshops for clients.
  • Dementia Friends impact: Over 1,300 Dementia Friends created—through rip-roaring (and sometimes silly) workshops.
  • A director doused: With distraught laughter—well, shaving foam—on purpose, of course!
  • Fun for all: Our expert carers host weekly drop-in games, socials, and activity nights at local halls—bring anything positive and share it with us.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
