If so, we’re offering a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Support Worker to join our Adults Residential service in Birmingham (B31 area). This is your chance to be part of something meaningful, working night shifts in a role that’s as rewarding as it is impactful.

Salary - £12.81 per hr
Contracted Hrs - 42 per week
Shift - Days

What You’ll Do

As a Support Worker, you’ll help individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs live safe, fulfilled, and independent lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing person-centred support tailored to individual care plans
  • Administering medication, preparing meals, cleaning, and completing documentation
  • Offering emotional and practical support
  • Encouraging community inclusion by supporting access to local services and activities
  • Building strong, trusting relationships that promote independence and enhance quality of life
  • Supporting individuals to explore hobbies, develop new skills, and reach personal goals

We’re seeking someone who is not only compassionate and reliable but also motivated to make a genuine impact. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Previous experience in the care sector, specifically supporting vulnerable adults with learning disabilities
  • The ability to multi-task, prioritise, and work flexibly
  • Must have a full UK Driving License
  • Strong communication, time management, and IT skills
  • A caring, positive, and proactive attitude
  • Resilience and confidence in managing challenging behaviours
  • A team player mindset, with the ability to also work independently
